Frequently Asked Questions

  • Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I use other domain names on my site?

Yes. Use the online order form to request parked domains.

If you wish to bring up a different page when the new domain name is used, see "Can I register additional domains to point to a subdirectory within my main domain?".

There's a one-time charge of $15 to park another domain name on your site. If you are registering a new .com, .net or .org domain name we will register it for you for $29 for one year. If you are registering some other name you must arrange the registration yourself.

The treatment of email names spans your main and parked domain(s). All email sent to sales@yourdomain.com or sales@your-parked-domain.com is routed the same (put in an email box or redirected elsewhere) - you cannot route sales@yourdomain.com to one place and sales@your-parked-domain.com somewhere else.

Note: when you send email from any domain parked on that site, the reverse DNS lookup that is done to determine the "From" address will compute the main domain name of the site.
